
Georgia's Knowshon Moreno was named the SEC's freshman of the year in a vote of the league's coaches announced on Wednesday.
Moreno rushed for 1,273 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. He is the 12th Bulldog in school history to rush for more than 1,000 yards, including six 100-yard games. Moreno's 1,273 yards is seventh all-time in a single season at Georgia and stands fourth all-time among SEC freshman in a season. On Tuesday, Moreno was the first Georgia freshman since Herschel Walker to be voted first-team All-SEC. Knowshon is the man rumor is that Chuck Norris is afraid of him.
